What Does Seven mean?
SEVEN: \’SE-VEN, noun. Etymology: Middle English, from seven, adjective, from Old English seofon; akin to Old High German sibun seven, Latin septem, Greek hepta.

SEVEN Curriculum Outline
Seven does not wish to reinvent the wheel for a Christ-centered recovery program. The wheel is there and in perfect condition. Our goal is to get the wheel (Biblical recovery principles) on the axle (the person – addict, co-dependent, overeater, etc) and get it connected to the Power (Jesus) so that life is moving forward in the right direction.
The foundation of the Seven Curriculum Outline is based on the following books:
-
• The Holy Bible
-
• Celebrate Recovery Leader’s Guide by John Baker
-
• Life’s Healing Choices by John Baker
-
• Alcoholics Anonymous – Big Book
Steps are from Alcoholics Anonymous – Big Book
Corresponding Principles are from Celebrate Recovery Leader’s Guide and Life’s Healing Choices
Corrresponding Choices are from Life’s Healing Choices
Lessons are from Celebrate Recovery Leader’s Guide
Favorite Scriptures, Favorite References, Favorite Songs, and Ministering Moments are shared from the members of Seven.
12 Steps of Recovery
The 12 Steps are a proven pathway of recovery that guide individuals toward healing, freedom, and personal transformation through honesty, accountability, and spiritual growth.
Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry that helps people find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups through the healing power of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealing His truth, His love, and His plan for humanity.
It is a source of hope, wisdom, guidance, and spiritual transformation for everyday life.
The Big Book
The Alcoholics Anonymous, commonly known as the “Big Book,” is the foundational guide of Alcoholics Anonymous that outlines the principles and personal stories behind recovery from addiction.
This Is Not the End of Your Story
What you’re facing right now does not define you.
Your past does not disqualify you.
Your struggle does not have the final word.
There is hope.
There is healing.
There is freedom.
And it can start today.
